Coaches at Team Spirit are qualified to the highest standard. They hold enhanced CRB checks and are first aid trained. 

​Lindsey Downing - Head Coach
Lindsey begun her performance career at age 4 learning a variety of dance styles including tap, jazz, modern, ballroom and disco. At age 11 Lindsey begun Cheerleading for a team called Rising Stars, a team she remained part of for over 14 years, moving from a Cheerleader into a Coaches role. Lindsey has competed, coached and managed teams at all levels including National, European and world standard many times. Lindsey continues to coach and judge internationally.

As a lead tutor in coach education for United Kingdom Cheerleading Association (UKCA) Lindsey is working to develop Cheerleading on a national scale. Running coaching courses whilst continually researching training methods and new technique's is a strong passion of Lindsey's. Still being an active cheerleader taking national titles, Lindsey loves to get really involved within classes, keeping fit and having fun whilst working with all ages and ability's.

Hannah McBride-
At the age of 5 Hannah became involved in gymnastics where she first got a taste for performing and competing. Initially an artistic gymnast, she quickly progressed through a variety of gymnastic disciplines and was scouted by a number of clubs as somebody that they wanted to train and have represent them nationally. At age 13, after 8 years of competing as an individual, Hannah decided she wanted to turn her hand to a more team based sport. She joined the Team Spirit program, as it was starting up in 2007, and has been able to watch it grow ever since. Primarily a cheerleader, over the past few years Hannah has started coaching alongside that, and has since competed at and coached teams to a national level. She has also, more recently, began teaching cheerleading within schools, working with an array of ages and abilities and helping them to learn and develop in all areas of cheerleading and performing.
